Gary is a proud University of Alabama alumnus, having earned his MBA in 1980.

Originally from Dothan, Alabama, his career in the forest products industry brought him from Birmingham to Newtown, Connecticut over 30 years ago.

He and his wife, Penny, purchased a small manufacturing company nearly 19 years ago that provides CNC precision-machined parts, components, and assemblies to customers in the aerospace, defense, communications and oil & gas industries. 

Gary and Penny have 5 children and 18 grandchildren.

LiveGirl is hiring a full-time Program Operations Coordinator to support program operations, events, and internship coordination across the organization. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and interested in nonprofit work, youth development, or workforce readiness.

You’ll support the SHE WORKS internship program (student matching, scheduling, onboarding), assist with event planning and execution, help manage HR/admin workflows, and contribute to reporting and operational tracking (HubSpot experience is a plus).

Details:

• Hybrid role (Westport, CT – ~1 day/week in office)

• Salary: $40,000–$45,000 + benefits

• Bachelor’s degree required
