About Roll Tide CT
Roll Tide CT is a Connecticut-based community for those connected to the University of Alabama. We bring together students, parents, graduates, and fans across the state to stay connected to Alabama—and to one another—long after move-in day, graduation, and beyond.
Our focus goes beyond social gatherings. Roll Tide CT is intentionally building a community that supports:
-
Helping prospective students and families learn about the University of Alabama through conversations with people who’ve experienced it firsthand
-
Welcoming students and new graduates returning to Connecticut by connecting them with peers, mentors, and local connections
-
Creating pathways for career conversations, internships, and job opportunities with Connecticut-based employers
-
Strengthening the sense of community that makes being part of the Bama family special—on fall Saturdays and far beyond
By creating opportunities for conversation, connection, and shared experience, our goal is to make the transition to and from Alabama feel a little smaller—and a lot more supportive.

Leadership
Roll Tide CT is co-led by Samantha Cioffi and Kay Cioffi, whose connection to the University of Alabama spans generations.
Samantha Cioffi is a proud University of Alabama Class of 2023 graduate, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Sacred Heart University, with plans to graduate in May 2028. Alongside her graduate studies, Samantha works as a substitute teacher with elementary-aged students in Mobile, Alabama. This May, she will relocate to Fairfield, Connecticut with her boyfriend (a hospital pharmacist and Auburn graduate—proof that love conquers all rivalries) and their cat, Onyx.
Kay Cioffi is an executive recruiter, founder of 925plan, and a longtime supporter of the University of Alabama community. She has served on the UA Student Life Leadership Committee and the UA Parent Advisory Council, and has spent years helping students and young professionals navigate education, internships, and early-career decisions. Kay and her husband, Joseph, are proud Alabama parents and live in New Canaan, Connecticut. Joseph is chief operating partner and chair of the bankruptcy, creditors’ rights + finance practice group at Davis & Gilbert LLP, and a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan since his Bergen County, New Jersey days.
Why Roll Tide CT
Samantha’s four years at Alabama were deeply meaningful—and like many members of the Alabama community, she experienced how easy it can be to lose touch after leaving Tuscaloosa. Roll Tide CT was created to keep those connections strong—across life stages, locations, and career paths.
Whether you’re exploring Alabama, supporting a student, returning to Connecticut after graduation, or simply looking to stay connected to the Tide, Roll Tide CT is here to help you build relationships that last.
Roll Tide.
